  17. I spent some time on this myself. The parallel-port Arcnet device on Aminet
  18. won't work. I have been in touch with the original people and there is a timing
  19. problem that was never solved.

  21. You could go with that Disk-drive network (at $150 a crack), but if you are
  22. like me, you want CHEAP (so no ethernet either)!

  24. Parnet "says" you can hook up to 255 machines, but gives no example of this,
  25. and I have heard that there are timing problems with this (contention). Sernet
  26. is not capable of >2 machines.

  28. The one you might want to try is Pronet. It lets you connect via Parallel or
  29. Serial ports (or both). Plus it allows a multiple serial card to have that many
  30. connections. So if you could get an 8 port card, you could connect to 10
  31. different amigas! It has abilities for running software remotely.
